THE RETURN OF AN ICON

In partnership with Mossy Oak, we're opening the vault and bringing New Break-Up back.

BRINGING BACK A LEGACY PATTERN

"Since its launch in 2002, New Break-Up has been one of the most well known and trusted camo patterns ever used by hunters. To this day, we see 'Old' New Break-Up jackets, boots and dipped guns and bows still being used by hunters all over the country. New Break-Up was an 'original' in its own right, and we're excited to be bringing it back."

THE CAMO YOU WEAR
REPRESENTS WHO YOU ARE

Backed by 40 years of groundbreaking camouflage design, Mossy Oak continues to lead the way in best-in-class concealment. But it’s more than just patterns—Mossy Oak is rooted in a deep connection to the land and the legacy of the hunt which is why Nomad proudly partners with them. Our shared values run deep: a commitment to innovation, a respect for the pursuit, and a passion for passing it on. From early season to the final days in the field, our new head-to-toe kits deliver the layering pieces you need to stay ready, comfortable, and concealed. For those who live to hunt and hunt to live, this partnership is as authentic as it gets. Together, we honor the past while pushing the future of hunting forward.

Closer to Nature Than Ever Before

Launched in 1996, the original Break-Up changed the game by combining photorealism, natural shadows, and true-to-life colors. In 2002, Mossy Oak took the next step with New Break-Up - completely reimagining concealment technology creating the most advanced pattern ever developed by the brand.

No other pattern replicates natural shadows like New Break-Up. Using a highly advanced digital process, this camo blends gray limbs and dark ghost-like shadows to give the
pattern dynamic, lifelike depth creating a pattern that doesn't just blend in - it disappears.

New Break-Up advances beyond the original Bottomland with a dramatically more detailed and dimensional bark texture, creating a deeper, more lifelike foundation for total concealment.

All of the design components work together to confuse depth perception and make it
nearly impossible for the human eye to focus, delivering unmatched concealment in the field.

A LOOK BACK

Since its introduction in 2002, the design process used to develop New Break-Up has been instrumental in the evolution of camo for Mossy Oak. Often imitated, but never duplicated, New Break-Up innovative imaging concepts changed the way people thought about concealment in the woods.

As sticks and limbs camo evolved from traditional camo, New Break-Up was its own form of an "original" in its own right. We are honored to be a part of the story and to bring a pattern that remains a favorite among woodsman of all ages back to the market with our Fall 2025 in-field assortment.
