The NWTF’s Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. Initiative is designed to help protect wild turkey populations by helping to preserve the birds’ natural habitats. The initiative relies on donations and an army of volunteers to protect lands and introduce new hunters to the sport. The foundation’s goal is to generate approximately $1.2 billion dollars to help advance their mission, while enhancing more than 4 million acres of crucial turkey habitat and recruiting 1.5 million hunters, who will further help to spread the word.
